Todays Haul: Superior Spider-Man

#003 Spider-Man Superior: Hot Topic
I guess this is Funko being lazy and not creating a new mold for what could be a much better Spider- Man. Got to step-up your game Funko bring out quality not quantity, we are hooked already don't abuse your power. Small rant for today thanks for reading and Happy Hunting.

Not Deadpools?

Foolkiller, Solo, and Terror
Gambling my least favorite thing when dealing with pops and to be honest after buying six of these guys I failed to get the complete set. The fun is opening that one rare and low chance of getting Chase and it not fun when you open the last of six or twelve and you don't see that Purple little booger. I got lucky and had a friend sell me one of his extras and I excited to add these guys to my collection.

In the title of the post it say "Not Deadpools?" and I want to enlighten those that believe this is just that Deadpool variants. Well your right they are all variant prints of Deadpool mold number 20 but they are in fact different characters from the Marvel Universe that are hired to help Deadpool stay relevant as he is running a team of the Avengers. Solo was first and shortly after making Deadpool a little more popular, Deadpool decided to recruit more members. The Rainbow Squad was born singling out a Deadpool imposter tarnishing the Deadpool name and the story got it own comic series Deadpool's Merc$ for Money. I think the point I wanted to get across is these guys are not Deadpool like Anti-Venom and Carnage are not Venom, they are repaints of the Venom mold but they are different characters.

Good news for those who didn't get so lucky but some source believe this guy will be available in the following months on Popcultha without it's sticker. Anyways good luck and I hope I never have to do this gambling thing for a while. Happing Hunting and good luck.

The Who Live in Pittsburgh

Loot Crate Exclusive
Went on a trip to Pittsburgh yesterday to see The Who live with my Brother. After a late night of jamming to some of the best rock ever, and drinking and playing pool afterward at the nearest watering hole my Brother surprised me with this little fellow. Before the storm of Deadpool that started my 2016 year Groot was the over produced pop with several variants and I dreaded the idea of getting him or Rocket in my Guardians of the Galaxy Collector Corps Box. This Groot is amazing compared to the others I currently have (I'm missing Mossy Groot and Angry Groot) and it because he glows in the dark. Groot's left hand is clear and when set in the sun it charges glows once it is in a dark area. Big thanks to my Brother for the gift and the great night out, Happy Hunting everyone.

Todays Haul: The Thing.

The Thing
Todays haul thanks to a local seller, The Thing is a rarer pop since he is vaulted or no longer being distributed. Unfortunately for me that usually means he will be more expensive and a good way to make sure you are not paying over it value is using a couple sites. Some great sources for values of your pops is POP Price Guide with combination with Ebay recent sales. Stay knowledgable with your hunt and POP! ON.

Civil War Pops (Side)

Tips for the hunt if you are running a little late is to get your exclusives they have fewer in the wild, greater value, and these exclusives are pretty amazing with a action pose, a unique unmask and our first look at a favorite character Falcon. Wanting you save some money on such a large set then wait on the commons, we all know Game Stop is not best place for prices and they can be preordered on BAM's website and will most likely be at Barnes and Noble soon for $1 to $2 in savings per Pop.
Civil War Pops (Tops)

Now there is a few more exclusives on the way and many of them are available on Popcultha's website without the exclusives stickers, so if you are in a hurry check that out to complete this set and move on to some more awesome pops.

Daredevil Set is Complete

Complete Netflix Daredevil set
I'll be honest I have not seen this show past the first episode, but it in my Queue and I cant wait to finish it.

#119 Daredevil Masked Vigilante

This guys is sick and in the first episode so I seen this costume. Love that his eyes are covered but then again it makes sense, since he is blind.

#120 Daredevil
Love this costume and like I mentioned I have not seen this show to completion but I can understand why this suit works in the live action.

#121 Matt Murdock
Well I'm a bigger fan of  POPs! wearing costumes, it is easier to tell who they are but this guy looks good and he red glasses help me know he is Daredevil.

#122 Wilson Fisk
My least favorite but it more about my previous statement about liking the POPs! with costumes. These guys are awesome and with the second season on the way and another set potentially going to come out I can't wait to get more. I hope you enjoyed my views on the new Daredevil POPs! and if you want to pick up a set for yourself check your Local Comic Shop, Hot Topic, Game Stops and Toys R Us.  Until next time happy hunting.

Hunting Smart: Toys R Us 101

Toys R Us (TRU) should be on every Hunters list of go to places when on the hunt for loot. TRU usually have a large variety of POPs! on the racetrack  near the boy toys department. Another positive thing about TRU is the price, each POP! retails there at $9.99 and on occasion $8.99 during sales. Now with every store there is a negative and TRU's negative is lack of team members on staff and there lack of knowledge on the product.

Teen Titan POPS
The most pursued POPs! at TRU are the Titans. The Teen Titans were vaulted but have made there way back to the shelves several times after yearly inventories.  With this on serval Hunter's ISO you can easily see why there value continues to rise.

Shelf Tag
How to start the hunt is all about the education, every item at TRU has a 6 digit code that identifies the product. In this example the Titans share the same Item #382748 which can be found on the bottom right of the shelf tag or under additional information on TRU website as the R Web #. Things to notice when you are looking at a shelf tag is for a small green dot, these green dots represent a potential error in the TRU inventory and when there is one visible you should locate an employee.

The Case Pack
So they are not on the floor, bummer now you need to find an employee that has a handheld or is near a computer. Now if its time for the holidays go straight to the service desk and wait it out. When you finally get the attention of an employee you need them to log on to TRU inventory system CSIS, when your there that Item # is required to look up the product. On the first page is all the general information, inventory, number of item in a case pack, and product status. For this example Inventory is 0, a full case pack has 6 pieces and the status is X not available, the next thing to so is to find alternative store inventories. Have the page organized by backroom stock then ask for a print out, those stores are the best to find the items you need.

Opened Case Pack

Let say there is not store near you with inventory in the back the next step is to look at floor counts. when it involves you going from store to store it very important contact store to prevent a wasted trip, with that said we are looking for number in multiples of the case pack number 6. Looking at the box above there are two Ravens in every case pack so if the quantity is 2 or lower there a good chance they are just Raven Titans.

Summary
1) Find an Employee with knowledge of the TRU Inventory System
2) Have item number ready for the employee
3) If the items are not in the store ask about other locations with a back stock first.
4) Call potential stores prior to a long Journey.

I hope this helps you find the POPs! you need from your local TRU.

POP ON!

My Personal Top Ten In my Collection Feb 25th 2016

Everyone has there favorites and I am no exception these is a list of my top 10 Marvel Pops. Just a reminder that this is my personal favorites and may not reflect your opinion on the following Pops below. Take a gander and enjoy the post I hope you like some of the ones I selected as my favorites.

Hot Topic X-Force Wolverine
Taking the Number 10 slot is Hot Topic exclusive Wolverine (X-Force). Logan take the spot mainly because Wolverine is awesome and this repaint was done much better than the original faded yellow. Although it was a repaint The X-Force comics are one of my favorites and this variant costume is one of the best in Wolverines arsenal.

Amazon Exclusive Iron Man (Unmasked) and Iron Man Mark 43
The Number 9 Slot is Iron Man from the Age of Ultron Film. Iron Man here is on this list because there are just so many and Funko did an amazing job separating this guy from the rest with his repulsers elevating him in the air.

Punisher Nemesis
Number 8 is the epic Nemesis Punisher variant that was release at the end of 2015. Punisher is one of my favorite character in marvel and although he has had two other repaints prior to this, Nemesis is my over all favorite.

Walgreens Taskmaster
Number 7 is Taskmaster, I have a little knowledge of the character but this guys just looks amazing. Sick detail to this figure is his hood glows in the dark only adding to what make him my number 7 on the list.

Dr. Doom
Number 6 is one of the best villain in the the Marvel Universe  Dr. Doom and the details on this guy is just jaw dropping. One of the following trends of this list is most of them are comic designs and not Pops from there movies.

Walgreen Iron Spider-Man
Number 5 is Spider-man rocking one of the best suits he owns from Mr. Tony Stark. The Iron Spider-man suit is one of my favorite suits from the Spiderman comic and I'm glad to get this guy before Marvel put Peter Parker in the Civil War film creating an alternate version for the movie goers to check out. got to love those epic golden arms that help Spider-man kicking some rear.

Deep Space Suit
Deep Space Suit Iron Man is taking the number 4 Slot because well look at it he is beautiful. There is so much going on with this guy, the eyes really opens up what Funko is willing to do to make there Pops amazing. As we all know most Pop's eyes are round and black and this really make the suit pop. Not only are the eyes awesome the full collaboration of colors on this suit really stick out and I just want Tony Stark to have a movie just in this Armor suit.

MCC Thor (Secret Wars)
Number 3 Lady Thor have you looked at this Pop closely, cause the details are on point. I remember learning that Thor Powers was going to a Lady and the hate it got, but I love this Pop and there not much I can add she just one of the best design made in my opinion.

MCC Hulkbuster
Hulkbuster would have been number one but I got some mail and he is now in the number 2 slot. I don't know how to describe how awesome this pop is, He just is. He is the first Marvel 6 inch and the amount of detail on this guys is epic.

MCC Deadpool (Leaping)
Leaping Deadpool is my number 1 favorite pop ever. Deadpool #20 started my collection adding all his variant costumes and Unmasked mold I was super excited at the start of February when all these new variants were coming out the wood works. My collection started to grow as Deadpool needed friends and at this moment he has about 130 others to torment. The Leaping variant was a huge surprise as action poses were just being announced and with this as my first action pose I cant wait to see that Funko plans to do with these. Hint hint Cap vs Iron Man action pose two pack where they are whooping one another butts. Thats my personal top ten I hoped you enjoyed and I asked you guys in Groups what was your so I can make a top ten based of your guys favorites, Happy Hunting and POP ON!
